I had surgery to remove a bone spur that was tearing my rotator cuff yesterday. It wouldn’t be so interesting to this discussion but for what the anesthesiologist said when he came to visit prior to the surgery.
I was joking about my youthful appearance… In the surgery room, all of a sudden a nurse would shout out… STOP! This is the wrong patient!! This chart says the woman is 51 and that lady on the table is only 39!!
He said that not only do I look that young, but I look pretty good on paper, as well. I have the blood pressure and heart rate of an athlete (woo-hoo!!) and the blood chemistry of a much younger person.
Dang! I wasn’t even fishing for that one!!
