Meningioma had zero growth

Got the news from my doctor yesterday.  The meningioma had zero growth in the last year so we don’t need to do another MRI for two more years.

No one will ever be able to say if the nutritional and anti-estrogen things I did made any difference.  Maybe it wouldn’t have grown, anyway.

But what I did has made me feel healthier and stronger than ever in my life and they certainly did no harm, so I’m keeping them up.

  1. I’m so happy for you to have no growth. You’re right about not knowing if your lifestyle attributed to that or not, but the benefits of it to your health are in my eyes a demonstration of their worth. I for one am grateful for all the research you do on this subject, I am trying hard (not hard enough, I know, but hard) to eliminate estrogens from my life and am hoping my 3 year mri will show no growth again in October. You are an inspiration to me, I’m off to my treadmill to “run/walk”!!!

  2. Please go to Roy and Rosa’s blog. ( link below) Rosa was diagnosed with leukemia last week, and they found a 3 cm meningioma today. I suspect they are afraid, in spite of their strong faith and love of God. ( Roy is a minister, and Rosa is the sweetest , humblest person i have ever met) Please read what they are going through, and if you think you might comfort them through sharing some of your experiences, please do. And Pray for them!

  3. Kathee — Good for you! I’m so glad my journey is helping SOMEONE. You have been a great encourager. Isn’t it so fun to run!?!

Jackie — Thanks for the heads up, I just popped over there and left a note. What a coincidence that they are struggling with both leukemia and meningioma. As you know, I am running a marathon for the Team in Training Program which raises money for patient support and blood cancer research.

You go through life wishing that you could be part of a bigger picture and here it is. My tiny little blog and my couch potato to marathon runner journey for leukemia. I love it!

  4. i Left you a message under one of your other postings. I do believe the Lord is “afoot” in your spirit. I am sitting back and watching miracles. Thank you for offering your support. Somehow, I knew that you would, and that this is just the beginning of another beautiful journey for you. God is wonderful, and your sowgenerously handle is very appropriate. I am watching the “blooms”. I believe you and Rosa would be great friends.
