UCLA 8th Annual Brain Tumor Conference

WHAT: Join brain tumor survivors, families, friends and healthcare professional at the UCLA Eighth Annual Brain Tumor Conference. This free conference will offer participants the opportunity to hear leading healthcare professionals speak about the latest treatments for adult brain tumors and also give the opportunity to learn about community resources that cater to patient, family and caregiver needs.

There will be sessions covering topics on brain tumors such as neurosurgery, chemotherapy, radiation, experimental treatments, imaging, complementary medicine, nutrition, neurocognitive deficits, depression and fatigue, language impairments, legal issues, in-depth information on brain tumor types, symptom management and psychosocial support.
