I am not waiting for a double-blind study

As I told my doctor, I am not interested in waiting for double-blind studies.  You only have one brain.  I’m hitting this full on with both barrels.

I believe in natural healing, I’m convinced the environment and the pollutants in food and water are doing us in, and I’m moving forward with what God and my intuition and some solid research tell me to do.  (For more on this, you MUST read The Healing Power of a Wholesome Diet for Brain Tumor Patients).

My neurosurgeon said he didn’t think there was enough evidence to support an estrogen link.  Brigham and Women’s Hospital is researching that very thing.  Why didn’t he know about that?  And why should we wait 10 years for a study to tell us what we intuitively know?

If I go ahead and fanatically eliminate all xenoestrogens and take indole-3-carbinole and use a progesterone oil and gently add in nattokinase and get my liver back on track filtering out xenoestrogens with milk thistle (all well-known, well-recommended remedies for estrogen-sensitive tumors, including cancers)… What’s the worst that will happen?

The worst that will happen is the little thing will grow in the next year — slowly, so they say.

The next worst is that nothing at all will happen.  No growth, no shrinkage.

But the most likely things to happen are:

*  The fibroids will entirely disappear — there is a ton of medical research to support that — and who know what will happen to the tumor in the brain?

* My estrogens will balance out and I’ll lose a little weight :-)

I’m cool with that.  There is no harm trying.

The medical doctors who believe in shrinking uterine fibroids by attacking the xenoestrogens say that you can dissolve a grapefruit-sized tumor in 90 days… IF you eliminate all those estrogen-look-a-likes in your environment.

This is a very simple test, if you ask me.  I have been on my “plan” for about 3 weeks, slightly longer, and without getting personal I can already tell the estrogens are going back to normal.  It’s amazing.

Here is my “plan”, if you want to follow any of it.  All the reasons for it are within this blog.

* Filter your water with reverse osmosis.  Water, here in Colorado, is probably my biggest risk.

* Wash your clothes only in white vinegar or trisodium phosphate (TSP). TSP is marvelous, it removes stains like crazy, and vinegar is a natural fabric softener.  I love this combination.

* Stop eating all non-organic meats.  (I was already vegetarian).

* Stop eating all non-organic dairy products. (Wasn’t meticulous about this but sure am NOW).

* Stop eating all soy, soy breakfast shakes, etc.  (I switched to whey and rice shakes).

* Avoid all caffeines.

* Get rid of the shampoos, lotions, and cosmetics with parabens and phenoxyethanols.  (I’m using Kiss My Face and MyChelle products).

* Get some indole-3-carbinole and start eating broccoli, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts every chance you get.  The one study I read about cooked brussels sprouts having a measurable impact on tumor cells made a believer out of me.
* Get some milk thistle — I found a great one with other liver-cleansing products in it.  I am an amateur herbalist so I appreciated the additional ingredients.

* I will add in Nattokinase (Fibrovan) later, want to go slowly with this one since it’s dissolving clot-like tissues.

* Use a progesterone oil that does NOT contain parabens — I am using Progestelle.

* There are a couple of other products, bioflavenoids, etc. that I will add in this month.  Just going slowly to establish each good habit.

* Oh, and I also take MonaVie.  It’s an acai health drink and it has the nutrients and energy that I need to accommodate all the other changes.  It’s the only one I trust because it doesn’t contain the caffeine-like plants like Guarana.

All the very best to you… stay in touch… I am absolutely convinced that there is a natural solution to these tumors and that we are on the right path.

  1. You forgot to juice Organic Beets and add a tablespoon of black strap molasses. Also, take Vitex extract could by these drops at wholefood. Beet juice w/ black strap molasses!!!!!!!!! The best for fibroid – everyday for 6 months.

  2. Hi there! Enjoyed reading your story. I am aholistic nurse and would feel remiss if I didn’t mention that Vitalzyme would be a better choice than I3C. Indole-3-Carbinole doesn’t live long enough to be packaged and consumed with any alacrity and you won’t be getting your money’s worth.
Great on the brussel sprouts and broccoli and eliminating estrogens! I am researching Fibrovan myself…nattokinase is from soy and soy is full of estrogen..keep researching and let me know what you find. I’ll do the same!

  3. I just read your article “Meningioma and Me:
experiment with the natural healing of a brain tumor.”

Pertaining to brain tumors, the following information may be of interest ——I saw on the internet where it said that there is a new surgical technique which removes brain tumors through the nose. The following are websites where this process is described. The surgeries are being done at Baylor Medical College and also are being done at Univ of Pittsburgh apparently. See the following websites:

  4. I noticed that this is not the first time you write about this topic. Why have you decided to touch it again?

  5. Thanks for this great post Im pretty sure that many people are searching informative post like yours .
